The Appreciation Ceremony themed “The Circle of Gratitude” was conducted on May 07, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the City of Meycauayan Convention Center to recognize the achievements, dedication, and perseverance of fourth year pre-service teachers. The event was attended by students, faculty members, parents, and guests and featured inspirational and congratulatory messages from academic leaders and education officials.

The program formally opened with a processional led by Masters of the Ceremony, Sir Chester Dacuba and Ma’am Ma. Christina Torres. The welcome remark was delivered by Prof. Frederick L. Berboso, who emphasized the importance of honoring future educators for their commitment and hard work.

A congratulatory message was then delivered by Dr. Reneliza C. Sta. Ana, followed by a message from Hon. Henry R. Villarica, who acknowledged the significant role of teachers in shaping learners and communities. Dr. Ma. Paz G. Contreras also introduced the guest speaker, Dr. Merlina P. Cruz, CESO V, who delivered an inspirational message centered on the word “TEACH” as a guide for aspiring educators.

In her speech, Dr. Cruz encouraged future teachers to first “touch lives,” emphasizing that “Before you teach, you should first reach their hearts.” She also highlighted the importance of empowering learners, adapting with purpose, committing to growth, and holding on to one’s reason for teaching. She concluded her message by encouraging the audience to “Teach with a heart, lead with purpose, and inspire for life.”

The ceremony also featured testimonial speeches from Mr. Geossipi S. Layman and Ms. Riza R. Santos, who shared words of encouragement and support for the pre-service teachers. Meanwhile, the message from the pre-service teachers was delivered by Ms. Althea B. Soriano, who expressed gratitude to the faculty members, mentors, and parents for their guidance and support throughout their academic journey.

The Appreciation Ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Gerard Gaza, marking the end of the program dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments and growth of the Teacher Education Program students.
