The National Service Training Program (NSTP) Graduation Ceremony, with the theme “Commitment to Serve: Resilient Youth Tomorrow,” was a momentous occasion that brought together first-year college students from the Teacher Education Program (TEP), Hospitality Management Program (HMP), and Office Administration Program (OAP) at Meycauayan Convention Center on June 13, 2024.

The ceremony began with a parade of the students, followed by a deep sense of patriotism as the Philippine National Anthem and the Awit of Meycauayan played. Mr. Gerard M. Gaza, Administrative Officer V, then took the stage to deliver the welcome remarks. His speech was informative and warm, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of the students while setting a positive tone for the day’s proceedings. He emphasized the significance of this milestone and the commitment to community service that the NSTP instills in its participants.

The College Dean and Acting College Administrator, Dr. Reneliza C. Sta. Ana, delivered an inspirational message, highlighting the importance of resilience and dedication. Moreover, Mr. Bryan Sicabalo from the Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English, Section 1A, presented the statement of purpose, eloquently articulating the significance of the NSTP graduation. Ms. Glaiza Mae Layson from the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration, Section 1A, followed with the introduction of the speaker, setting the stage for an enriching address. Furthermore, Ms. Jin Mizuse, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation President, captivated the audience with her insightful and motivational speech. Her words inspired the graduates, encouraging them to embrace their future roles with enthusiasm and commitment.

The highlight of the ceremony was the calling of names, where each student walked across the stage to receive their certificates. This moment marked the culmination of their hard work and dedication, symbolizing their readiness to take on future responsibilities with a spirit of service.

In a special segment, Mr. Joshua S. Alaba, the NSTP Head, announced the Best in Portfolio awards for each section. These awards recognized students who had shown exceptional creativity and dedication in their projects, highlighting the diverse talents and potential within the graduating cohort. The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Joshua S. Alaba. His heartfelt and inspiring message left a lasting impression on the graduates. He commended their achievements and encouraged them to continue embodying the values of resilience and commitment to service as they move forward in their careers and personal lives. The students carried with them not just their certificates but also the inspiration and resolve to serve their communities with dedication and resilience.
